On weekends, we have so-called public games, where you can reserve a spot just for one person. Check our booking calendar for more information.

A maximum of 8 players can fit in one room. Currently, we have two escape room games in Tapiola, so up to 16 people can play at the same time. If needed, we can be a bit flexible with the maximum number of players.

You can also book consecutive game times for your group. You can see available times in our booking calendar. Or contact us at info@huoneescapes.fi. We are happy to organize games also outside the prescheduled times whenever possible.

You can modify your reservation details up to 24 hours before your game via the link in your booking confirmation or by emailing info@huoneescapes.fi.

A single game must be canceled at least 24 hours before the game. Cancellations for multiple games must be made at least one week (7 days) before the game day.

For late cancellations, we charge a fee of 100 euros per room.

If the number of players changes from what was stated in the reservation, you do not need to inform us in advance as long as it stays within the room’s maximum capacity.

Yes, as long as there is availability in the booking calendar. You can ask your game master about same-day availability.

You can play in Finnish and English. All our games are available in both languages.

In the games “Waiting for Ville” and “Captivating Exhibition” there’s no need to crawl or reach, but while waiting for Ville there are some thresholds and tight spaces to overcome. Please ask us for more details about the suitability of the games for your needs.

Yes, you can. You’re also welcome to take photos of yourself and your teammates in the room! You may share pictures, as long as you don’t give away too much and spoil the surprises for others.

We recommend not using your phone to solve puzzles or light up dark spaces.
Even brief moments of darkness are often part of the puzzle and the immersive game experience. Using extra light can spoil the challenge and diminish the thrill of discovery.

You don’t need acrobatics or strength to succeed. Good physical condition isn’t necessary either. In fact, you shouldn’t use force. Puzzles are solved with keen observation, dexterity, and wit. Our games are suitable for all ages, from teenagers to seniors.

Remember to bring your glasses or reading glasses if you need them.

Our rooms feature different types of tasks with varying difficulty levels. What’s hard or easy depends on the individual. One person may excel at word puzzles, another at accuracy or dexterity. We’ve tested our games with various groups to ensure a smooth experience. All our rooms are suitable for both beginners and experienced players. You can always ask the game master for unlimited hints whenever needed.

Our games don’t have jump scares or horror elements. The lighting is mostly soft - not office-bright, but not dark either. There are brief moments in the dark. The sounds are much quieter than in movies.

You can stop playing at any time. Some of our rooms aren’t actually locked, so you can just walk out. For those that are locked, you can open the door by pressing a button next to it. Using the restroom will use up your game time, but you can go and return to continue playing.

There’s no minimum or maximum age, and no special fitness, strength, or intelligence is required. An open mind, sharp thinking, and a bit of dexterity are enough. Players under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Those 15 and older can play on their own.

Our venue is substance-free. The game master has the right to cancel or stop the game if players arrive intoxicated or use substances during the game. You’ll enjoy the escape room best when sober - and you’ll likely do better, too.
